The terms of use of the website Project1917.com are determined by the conditions and procedures for the use of the website and the displayed objects of intellectual nature and property. The terms are also regulated by the Provider’s relationship with the Users of the Site since the launch of the website. The intellectual property rights on the website as a whole and on its individual pages fully belong to the Provider (to the extent that some of its materials do not belong to the intellectual property rights of third parties or are not in the public domain). The right to administer the Site belongs to the Provider. The website is not a platform for mass media.

The use of the website and the materials posted on it is gratuitous. The materials displayed on the Site, which includes citations, are posted for scientific, research, cultural and informational purposes only, as to show the User information about historical events. Any interested person, in the case of infringement of intellectual property rights and other illegal activities on the Site, is able to inform the Provider of such violations by sending an email to an email address of one of the employees of the Site. The Provider promptly reviews all appeals and takes measures to stop violations. These measures consist of establishing the legal owner on the basis of the evidence provided, the establishing of the circumstances of possible violations of intellectual property rights and determining ways to stop the violation.

Users are not permitted to use the materials on the Site, the exclusive rights to which belong to third parties, without the consent of the copyrights holders, even if these materials were obtained by the User via the website. By placing the text of these Rules on the website, the Provider thereby creates an offer, which is addressed to an indefinite number of persons and which contains an offer from the Provider to accept the real Rules. This offer never expires. The proper acceptance of the offer is the committing actions of the user to obtain access to the contents of the Site. The offer is not considered as proposed by the Provider, if the User has no legal right to use the Site in accordance with the applicable law, or if the User has not reached the age at which he has the right to agree to the offer and to gain access to the content of the Site. These Rules may be modified by the Provider unilaterally without notice to the User. Users should independently monitor the updates made to the Rules.

The Provider does not guarantee the availability of the Site at any time, and the presence in it of any specific materials. The Provider does not guarantee the reliability of the information published on the Site. The Provider has the right, at any time, to limit the spread of the Site’s content, access to certain types of content, as well as to terminate access to the Site all together. The Site is provided by the Provider “as is”, without a warranty or any obligation to eliminate software deficiencies, operational support and improvement.

Any rights of the Users, which are not listed as the real Rules, are not available to the User. The absence of a literal prohibition is not considered as consent.

Rules of the processing of personal data

As part of the operation of the Site, the Provider receives specific personal data from the User. The processing of this personal data is governed by real rules and is in accordance with the current legislation (which includes the Federal Law “On Personal Data” № 152-FZ of July 27, 2006) solely for the purpose of conclusion and execution of contracts with the subjects of the personal data or legal entities, on behalf of and/or in the interests of which the subjects of the personal data are acting. The Provider has the right to collect anonymous information, which does not include personal information, provided by the User. Such information includes any overt information that becomes available to the Provider by the User during the use of the Site. Such information may include, among other things, information about the browser and the technical device of the User, the order of page visits, time and date of connection, etc. The Provider may collect personal information, voluntarily and knowingly provided by the User during the use of the Site, namely the name, mobile phone number and email address and other information communicated by the User. The Provider may use the personal data obtained for the following purposes:
