Holidays are over. I feel sad and bored. It's like the holidays never even happened. The New Year's Eve was especially wonderful: all the food I had ordered for the holidays failed to arrive on time, so there was nothing to celebrate with, and at 11 o'clock - 23.00 in military time - I went to bed with a book on Eastern history. Isn't that quaint!
