And I feel that life is like some long, long, narrow dark corridor that we have to feel our way along, past thousands of locked doors, searching, searching for some open door, where we might rest together from all the horrors.

Evil fate thinks up a million ways to worm its way through some chink into our hearts and destroy our love... See for yourself, hasn’t our love known more sad hours than happy ones, and haven’t they made it stronger? I feel that there will be many more trials ahead of us and I know that when the forces of evil attack, you will not let me be torn to pieces. Don’t give me up. I love you.
